A little Inner Work for a Lazy Sunday

My basic personality is an Enneagram 4 wing 5. If you have done the Enneagram Test you will know what I mean.

The Enneagram unmasks our Basic Fears and Motivations and for me, when I’m feeling insecure or in need of understanding I can see what’s motivating my fears.

The biggest thing I wrestle with...

And Geoff Hall you are not far wrong... between work, writing, and running something always has to give. Most of my writing is condensed to the weekends as I'm usually too knackered on week days. Stil...

Yes Geoff. Done the Eneagram myself. It helps me understand so many personality types. I’m a 4 with 3 wing. But a 9 the peacemaker as well as I like to find common ground in any given situation and he...

Shaun St. Cyr I hear you, Shaun. I am supposed to progress to a 1 and then find a kind of personality type nirvana, so that sounds like fun! As a 4 I’m an individualist, in the sense of being uniquely...

Glad I came across this Sean. Easy and simple are so very different. But we complicate it when it’s just head down and do the work. Such a good reminder.

Dude. That’s such an amazing story. So encouraging. I often find myself stopping because life gets in the way or my ideas are so grand I can’t flesh the out. Or I’m terrified of success. Reading this makes me want to keep going. Thank you so much for sharing. Wishing you all the success you’ve worked so hard for going forward

Shaun, it's all about putting one foot in front of the other. I've given up on several stories only to come back to them at some point. When you have an idea that doesn't seem to work for whatever rea...

Getting known

A lot of people say “I want to be known for my work”. Well that is a given. If you are talking to a group of people interested in writing, that is what they will use to build their opinion of you. However, they will only have an opinion if they know who you are. They will only remember what they tho...

This sounds like something I'd definitely watch, Shaun St. Cyr. It's kind of like a music version of "Fighting with My Family."

Here's a couple of suggestions for your logline:

#1) Add a comma after "talented."

#2) Explain what "before it’s too late" means.
