About Johnny

Aton Thelemedia is all about creating something from nothing.

I started AtonThelemedia because the SUN’S TRUE WILL of my existence, my reality, called to me through Mother Earth and demanded I labor after the great work of story telling in such a name.
In other words, regardless of financing, as well as any other limitations or obstacles, “WE COME UP FROM THE BASEMENT!”

Writer Director Johnny Brocco -

My stories are Mother Goose For Demons, as I call them.
Fear and Comedy are secretly linked by alchemy. My stories are meant to help unlock deep, often ancient and occult, truths of the human condition by portraying themes and characters where the lines between right and wrong, good and bad, black and white, life and death, and even yes and no, are hard to transmute between the two of. There are two sides to any stick, if you break it in half it just becomes two smaller sticks. To have full STICK you must see the piece of wood for its entirety.

I leave a trail of subtle, often mystical, blood stained breadcrumbs meant to not only teach my audience about themselves as they pick each piece (or body part) up, but scare and confuse them along the way … and have some laughs too of course.

I write lines, scenes, actions, and even whole characters who embody, somehow hidden cryptically in plane sight always, the entire aspect or specific aspects of the piece they are part of, everything is always an esoteric aspect to something else’s fulmination

I’ve been writing since before I could read (if that makes sense).
My father taught me how to draw fire when I was very young, and from there I say that my career in art began.
At a young age I also became thoroughly fascinated by the occult and all things folkloric, this would eventually return in my future in mysticism.
I spent my teenage years drawing comic books, writing manuscripts, and debating whether or not to go to school, where, and how.
Eventually I learned a myriad of musical Instruments and skills, which for a while became my preferred medium of artistic expression. I loved the fact that I could convey so much so fast whereas drawing an image or writing a manuscript takes hours, a song is a blip in reality, a paused moment … which is how my love of film making began …
Ive always loved film, my father also I can thank for that, and my mother and my society as well, and I’ve always loved the screenwriting format, its sleek rapid imagery painting instant action to action style is not only more fun to read and write (in my opinion) but a more efficient means of telling stories than we’ve ever had before in human history.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, and a word is worth a thousand sounds, and a sound is worth a thousand messages, then a movie is worth almost that of a world because a movie is worth a thousand pictures.
