I have so many ideas to make into short scenes but I've never wrote a scene in my life. I'm taking a basic screenwriting class tomorrow. Any helpful advice?

I'm a (very) independent filmmaker with nine feature films under my belt - all films either produced and/or directed and/or written by myself. All films are horror/science fiction-cyberpunk/fantasy. Been awhile since on. We wrapped Optica and that is now available VOD on Amazon. Not bad for a little experimental film shot in about 36 hours. I'm wrapping up Cleric my sci-fi "epic" which we've described as "Apocalypse Now" meets "Blade Runner" (sort of). A couple VFX to add then final sound mix and off it goes to wherever it will go to. Once this off my plate I can focus on "Manifestation" fully.

Short version: I have produced and/or directed and/or written: Ice Queen, Prison of the Psychotic Damned, FrightWorld, Red Scream Vampyres, Red Scream Nosferatu, Fable: Teeth of Beasts, Cleric, Scarlet Samurai: Incarnation, and Optica. I am now in preproduction on Manifestation" slated for a Fall 2014 shoot. My influences are 70s European art cinema, Universal and Hammer horror, and American underground cinema. We are finally entering pre-production on "Manifestation". This will be a much smaller, more arty, more experimental version of the film - so really more a return to the original concept before we were sidetracked into the possibility of making it a commercial project. The budget will be small, the hours long, the role(s) especially that of Anna physically and emotionally demanding. But we think a fantastic project.
