When a movie memorabilia shop owner's ex-husband and a tabloid reporter show up before her planned remarriage to a TV star, she discovers that her well-intentioned maid-of-honor is behind the chaos and learns a hard truth about herself.
Girlfriend invites ex-husband to wedding? What is the humor of the plot, there are no comical prerequisites in the logline?
Perhaps you can write a funny story based on a sitcom, but the logline doesn't reflect that.
There is one more thing - a friend can invite uninvited guests? They will just be kicked out and the story will end. But most importantly, the goal of the hero is not indicated in the logline.
Try writing a lagline like this:
A bridesmaid starts an affair with her friend's ex-husband, unaware that it's not all over between them yet, jeopardizing a wedding in the Bahamas.

Okay, thank you. It's a script in the vein of the Philadelphia Story, which the ex and a reporter do crash the wedding.

Rod Burke thank you. I did tweak it a bit from the first draft I posted here. I keep going back and forth if I need to mention the tabloid reporter in the logline, but it does share that there will be more comedic "drama" than just the interaction with the ex. I just added the part about the reporter. Nice to meet you, BTW.

The new version of the logline is more understandable. But I think the description of the newlyweds is superfluous.
Wanting a movie star friend to make the right choice, the heroine lures her friend's ex-husband to the wedding. However , her plan is hindered by the paparazzi ...
