    Deathday (2023 - 2024)
Film (short) by JP Luce Writer/Drirector/Producer It’s the year 2072, and the planet can no longer sustain its population. Consequently, all the countries unite and forcibly push forward the Re-creation, agreeing to exterminate anyone over the age of 40. Those under the age of 40 await the same fate on their 40th birthday. Our protagonist, Elijah Thomas Washington, wakes up alive the day after his birthday, confused about why he’s not dead. It turns out he’d been chosen as a child to join a faction of Resisters that have been fighting to return to the old ways since the Re-creation began. Those chosen to join the resistance are rescued on their Deathday, and team up with the others fighting to return to the old ways.
