Looking for someone who will be attending the full time of the Cannes Festival I will be arriving on the 13th and leaving on the 29th.
I'm a screenwriter currently undertaking a Masters in screenwriting (Duh). I'll be attending for the first time this year for 4 days, and I know absolutely nobody - anyone into horror/comedy fancy a coffee or beer?. I'm in England, just under 2 miles from Shepperton Studios.

Now that most of you are back from the Cannes Market & Festival, I am very interested in your experiences and comments.
Looking to collaborate on my scripts: 1) a remarkable, upbeat true story (I possess full rights), 2) a juicy coming-of-age story with a twist, based on my teenage years; 3) a rom-com political thriller with super savvy political consultants attached.
I love very smart, comic, visually original work - from Buster Keaton, Renoir and Fellini to Coppola, early Terence Malik and the Coen brothers.

Absolutely love that list of your inspirations - what’s your favorite Coen Brothers movie?
Hey Amanda - thanks for asking! It has to be The Big Lebowski, which to me is one of the funniest movies since the age of sound. The cast is fantastic and the scenes at the bowling alley are genius. What about for you? And who are your favorite filmmakers?

I assume $60M is not low-budget. Not high, but at least mid-range. Depending on the director and lead it could go higher.

It will be a major commercial motion picture quite possibly with an A-list lead,

I've worked with him on several commercial projects, and we've collaborated on script development for a few features. If you contact him, you can mention my name and that I recommended him. http://www.jimissa.com/about-jimissa
Good luck with your film!
Sounds amazing Jonathan Herrick and you may want to put this on the jobs section, best of luck.
