About Hannah

Hi! I'm a Los Angeles-based writer, filmmaker, and musician. Growing up in Coplay, Pennsylvania, I made the move out west following my graduation from Emerson College in the fall of 2020, where I received my BFA in Comedic Arts.

My work often skews toward surreal dramedy and horror-comedy, naturally occurring as I aim to initiate judgment-free conversations on anxiety, fear, and mental health. Using humor to alleviate just a bit of life's heaviness, my mission is to inspire hope, rediscovering joy in the aftermath of dark circumstances and making our struggles feel less alienating.

While I am currently in pre-production for two short films I've written, I am always open to new, exciting opportunities! I enjoy directing, assistant directing, script consultation, and songwriting, with an eagerness to explore other facets of filmmaking.

  • Skin Deep

Skin Deep Horror Comedy It's a laundry day, starting off like any other. This Sisyphean task - it feels endless, at worst, but nothing too out of the ordinary here for Cecilia. And yet... sometimes there can be something so... unnerving... about the mundane. Especially when the issues that we have with ourselves go far deeper than just the clothes we wear.

  • Wind Chill

Wind Chill Horror Behind the iron fence lining crotchety Old Man's yard lies an expansive hillside - which, to young Eli, makes for the most perfect snowboarding slope. With his friend Jenna as a lookout, he dares to do what no other kid has been able to accomplish: hop the fence without being admonished. But what Eli and Jenna have come to learn, though, is that perhaps Old Man wasn't just trying to keep them out... Maybe he was trying to keep something else, something dangerous, locked in.
