About Charles

I'm a DoP based in Johannesburg, South Africa but born and partly bred in England. It all started with my dad's Sony Betamax home video camera, which incidentally I broke. Since then I've constantly had a camera on me or within reaching distance, and yes, I still occasionally break them. I love what I do, I get to work throughout Africa experiencing the most dynamic, confusing and wonderful continent and it's amazing people.
