I'm a technical writer to pay the bills. As a filmmaker, I've helped make ten 48-Hour Film Project movies in Baltimore and Washington, DC since 2011, six of them award winning. I've also helped make four other narrative short films and wrote, directed, and produced my own part-documentary/part-quiz show, "When Was the War of 1812?" which is available to see on YouTube. Take the quiz -- What do you know about the War of 1812? I used to do a lot of still and video photography until I tore ligaments in my right hand. It's healing after two surgeries, but it's not 100% yet. I've written a narrative feature script about my ancestor who was a privateer during the War of 1812, and I am reformatting it to be a limited series. Another feature in progress is a Civil War mystery, and I'll be adapting two books into either a feature or a limited series.
Unique traits: I can roll my tongue.
