Mike L. Hall's Lounge Discussions

I think some may know me if not, I am Mike Hall an actor and screenwriter from Texas. I grew up in a very small town in East Texas and currently live just south of Dallas with my wife and family. I do local community theater, as well as Film and TV work when I can, these days I mostly write and hopeful to one day direct something I have written.

I have a screenplay, "My Dad, Arlo & Me" , that has been doing very well in the film festival circuit . Currently it is an Official Selection for the Lake Travis Film Festival, it was the winner of the Lake Charles Film Festival and has been a Finalist in many , including the Houston, Portland and Georgia Comedy Film Festivals, the Austin Under The Stars Film Festival as well as the International Canabis & Hemp Film Festival.

Aside from that screenplay, I have several I am working on. One in particular about the rock and roll star Buddy Holly ...written with a little twist, that I have just completed.

I have a full list of script ideas and that list seems to keep growing.

So I plan to keep writing as well as acting because I believe they truly inform one another... because I act out my characters while I'm writing.

My Name is Mike L. Lawyer son take a road trip together, little did they know how big a TRIP it would be). I have several scripts in the works and hope to have them completed soon.
