My career began as a model for Elite Modeling Agency in New York, where I was able to travel and work in Milan, Italy; Paris, France; Munich and Hamburg, Germany; London, England; and even shoot catalogs in remote places like Srinigar, India. I also performed as the Charlie Girl for Revlon for two years in the mid-1980's, which included international commercials and ad campaigns. From this solid grounding in front of the camera, I soon turned my eye to cosmetics and worked for Lancome, MAC, Christian Dior, Chanel, and Bobbi Brown, learning the many facets of products and customer service. Soon, I had the opportunity to study under Skip Smith, former head makeup artist at CNN in Washington, DC. Through this valuable experience, I began my career in live television, print, and film and had the wonderful opportunity to make up some big personalities including, but not limited to:
Al Gore, John McCain, Barbara Bush, Hilary Clinton, Charleton Heston, Bill O'Reilly, Hannity and Colmes, Judy Woodruff, Wolf Blitzer, Larry King, Bob and Elizabeth Dole, Colin Powel, Jesse Jackson, John Astin (Gomez Addams from the original Addams Family television series), Disney, Marylou Henner, CNN, FOX, MSNBC, and Gaiam Television.
I am proud of my repeat clientel and ability to dance to the tune that's playing at any given photo shoot or film production. Enjoyment, for me, comes from creating something beautiful wherever I go and whoever I am fortunate enough to deal with. I enjoy collaboration and teamwork while effectively communicating with producers, directors, talent, and clients. Should you have any questions please contact me and I would be happy to relay rates and availabilty. Member CFVA, and Film in Colorado. I can use regular foundation or airbrush as needed.
