About Tom

I was born and raised in Milwaukee and, yes, I did work in a brewery. I'm a first-generation American, the son of immigrants from war-torn Eastern Europe. Later, I packed everything I owned into my VW bug and drove out to the West Coast where I enrolled in school, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University (with a Minor in Philosophy). Fast forward to not that long ago when I wrote my first screenplay, The Big Beyond, which won the Shriekfest Film Festival's Best SciFi Feature Screenplay (and was also a recent Finalist in Stage 32's SciFi Contest). I also wrote a Dramedy called Good Saint Binky that won Stage 32's Annual Feature Screenwriting Contest.

I write mainly Horror and SciFi and am keenly aware of budget.

The San Francisco Bay area is where I call home.

Unique traits: I used to make those fuzzy covers people slip over their toilet tanks and seats. Lost that job when a tornado laid waste to the factory.

Oh...I also used to own the domain name Zoom.us before I sold it back in 2012. I wonder what they did with that...
