NewYorkRep's mission is to foster and produce innovative new work. We embrace what makes story telling inherently theatrical: to present what film and television cannot. Our goal is to inspire and challenge our artists and audiences by continually examining and questioning how we live our lives, we aim to create a more conscious and compassionate community. We approach our work with open hearts, earnestness, and courage. We are full of passion, possess an unending work ethic and ambition, while continually seeking to take risks. We are unapologetic in our belief that theatre changes people’s lives. In addition to fully mounted productions, NewYorkRep produces readings, workshops, and classes to inspire the next generation of artists.
