About Robert

Robert Attenweiler is an award winning writer living in New York. His plays have been produced in New York and throughout the country with his most recent play, Our Greatest Year, earning a rave from the New York Times. He is the producer/writer/creator of the web series Apt1B and his TV scripts have been an official second round selection of the Austin Film Festival TV Competition and twice made the semi-finals in the ABC/Disney TV Writing Program. He received his MFA in Dramatic Writing with a full fellowship from New York University, is a former New York Foundation for the Arts Fellow in Playwriting and Screenwriting and has been called "one of the most talented poets writing for the stage right now." (The New York Theater Experience) Robert is a board member and teaching artist with Voices Inside/Out, an outreach program that teaches playwriting to prison writing groups.
