About Diana

As a freelance writer, I believe that the written word is incredibly versatile and powerful.  It has the power to inspire, teach, entertain, and to also challenge our expectations and perceptions of the world around us.   My passion for writing led me to complete an online bachelor of communication through Griffith University with two majors: Screen Studies and Creative Writing. My academic ranking was in the top 15% of my degree.

My writing portfolio includes: book reviews, a weekly blog for aspiring writers on the website, .au, a poetry collection - Poems from the Precipice, and a short screenplay, Trafficked. I have experience in the television industry as an Extra in TV Shows and Commercials. My current literary projects are: a fantasy feature film, a television sitcom, a 'magic realism' novel, Rose Cottage, and a short film screenplay about human trafficking.

I have recently taken on the position of Editor, a volunteer position, at Unearthed Fiction magazine, which is part of The Australia Times (TAT). I have also published a collection of short stories, Tales for the Sisterhood.
