Rob Boyd

Rob Boyd has been making short films and writing scripts since his teenage years. After studying film and animation at the Queensland College of Art, he set up a production company, producing numerous live-action TV commercials and music videos.
In the early nineties Rob decided to specialise in animation, one of his first loves. Rob made two stop-motion short films and then formed a boutique animation studio - CYCHO, which produces claymation, stop-motion, mixed media and 3D computer animation.
Under Rob’s direction, CYCHO have created numerous animated and live action television commercials, multi-media projects and short films, in Australia and overseas. CYCHO clients include the Red Cross, Fox Studios, McDonalds, Hungry Jacks, Pepsi, Jaguar, Roche and many others. You can view some of Rob's animation at .au
Over the last few years, Rob has been writing and developing a number of short and feature film screenplays in the horror and thriller genres. Rob’s aim is to put the knowledge he has gained in animation and digital technology to good use in the movie industry and hopefully scare the hell out of audiences in the process.
