Paul produced short comedy ‘Tragic Love’, awarded at Tropfest, the world’s largest short film festival. He produced and directed a short comedy for the Jewish International Film Festival (‘Dream House’), and another comedy in New York City, post-producing in Los Angeles and at Skywalker Ranch (‘Imaginary Friend’). He also directed the multi-award winning psychological drama ‘The Visitor’ (MIFF, Rome, RIIFF).
Paul is the recipient of an Australian Academy Award (AACTA) for a film he co-wrote and directed (‘Departure Lounge’, social shorts). He was set-up director and line producer on the first season of teen comedy-adventure series ‘Bertram Poppingstock’ (ABC). He is in demand as a showrunner, having co-created several thriller series.
He is also an AWGIE winning writer (‘Night Swimming’, ABC). Paul won the first Blue Sky Drama initiative, from a field of over 450 entrants, co-creating a high-end series for Fremantle Australia. In 2017, Paul was named as One to Watch by Screen Producers Australia.
