Mark Crawford

As a composer/songwriter, Mark has enjoyed writing music for a variety of projects including documentaries, narratives, and four musical comedies including The Final Hour. His credits include many videos featured on the Fast Company website, and an award winning feature documentary Chasing Ice that recently screened at the Sundance Film Festival.

Born in southern California, Mark Crawford has lived in multiple states on the west coast including Nevada, New Mexico, and Colorado. While attending the University of Colorado, he immersed himself in a wide range of filmmaking styles and techniques including animation, documentary, narrative, and experimental. During his senior year, he created a formed Final Hour Films, an award-winning production company that amassed some of Colorado’s most talented filmmakers. His films have received many international accolades including an official selection at Silver Docs documentary film festival for his film Synesthesia and a screening of his film Seven Deadly Sins at the 2010 SOUNDS NEW contemporary music festival in England.

In 2013, sailed around the world and traveled to 15 different countries. His experiences have greatly influenced the style and outlook of his music.
