About Karen

Karen Huffman has been teaching piano, theory and composition for 8 years and, now that she's settled in her new home in Portland, is ready to get back on the bandwagon! She is excited to work with other local musicians and filmmakers to collaborate on composition, performance and recording.

Karen Huffman holds a BFA in Film/Video/Animation from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Masters in Music from Southern Methodist University.

I can't wait to meet more musicians in my new home!
