About Ritchie
Ritchie “Stonian” Johnston is a UK-based screenwriter and novelist who writes comedy with consequences. His work blends satire, genre, and emotional grit — often featuring characters who are brilliant at self-sabotage and terrible at staying out of trouble.
He’s the creator of the adult animated occult series Ralph Unleashes Hell, the dramedy F.M.L., and the horror-comedy feature APEX (No One Makes It Out Alive). His debut novel, We Regret to Inform You That Rick Is Still Alive, is a darkly comic, stoner noir conspiracy thriller — think Nick Hornby meets Mr. Robot, but hungover.
Ritchie’s voice has been compared to Charlie Brooker, Edgar Wright, and "your funniest mate having a breakdown." He specializes in high-concept character stories with teeth — whether they’re fighting demons, dodging conspiracies, or just trying to be less of a mess.
