Question:

I registered pitch a producer today and it was supposed to start in 5 mins but haven't gotten her skype name or anything, which I assumed I would. Anyone know the protocol for that?

David Whelan

Haven't done it yet but I assume you can contact admin on this site for info on what went wrong if it was a pitch service from Stage 32

Eva Montealegre

I never heard anything after I sent my pitch to Wil Deasey. Did he get it? Did he read it? Did it go through? Took my money and then nothing.

Jason Mirch

Hi Eva Montealegre It's Jason over at Stage 32. I am sorry for the lack of communication from Will. We are going to work to get you set up with another executive of your choice. Contact us at Writerhe...

Did not crack Quarterfinals in two recent competitions! Should I get more coverage? Revamp? Important Historical story needs to be told I feel. Thanks

James Drago

I am a big believer of the coverage services here. I've had calls and meetings with 2 execs from it and it dramatically improved my work. Most important thing is to not get discouraged!

Wil Crown

Man, I’m also working on an important historical story that needs told. We should definitely connect and collaborating Sterling. Are you in LA or elsewhere?

Sterling Tyson

I got coverage through Coverfly, though I did a good job making three addtional revisions to my original draft, and I cut 16 pages off the original script. I also was clueless to how expensive to this...

My problem with those services is that you don't have any clue who's reading your script and you can't ask them questions. That's why I use the services here. That's how I got the meetings also. Big fan.

I have written two successful novels, The Thirty-Ninth Man and the sequel, Tears Of Sorrow. My goal is #1- to have Kirkus Reviews do a review. #2 develop a script for The Thirty-Ninth Man suitable for the big screen. I've been rejected once with a celtx generated script. I need to learn!

Agree with Derek Reid! Great attitude!

Wil Crown

You’ll do it Derek! Where are you based out of?

Adam S. MacPherson

Absolutely right! Quite difficult to go from author to screenwriter, or vice versa. Habits of one style or the other tend to stick and inadvertently carry over to one style or the other. This generall...

That’s awesome Tommy! I’m curious, as a screenwriter, do you find that the festival success has opened many doors for you? And if so, how?

Hi everyone! I am a screenwriter venturing into producing, with several projects optioned here and there. My next goal is to secure solid representation and make my first indie film. Anyone have a spare $50,000.00 sitting around? Yeah, yeah, I know...I am a best-selling author of non-fiction books a...

Soooo... I love People and I love telling their stories. I have written a couple dramatic features, I prefer real life events, but funny enough I’m also looking to connect with some sketch comedy people for another project that’s percolating. I also produce a budding YouTube channel where I put out...
