Perkins Tracy

My talents as Set Decorator, Art Director and Production Designer have enabled me to work on more than 150 shoots from advertisements to feature films and I have been nominated twice for Production Design at the SAFTA’S – South African Film and Television Awards.

Collaborating with Production Designers and Directors, I use artworks, furnishings and other props to design the look and feel. My strengths lie in my ability to deliver exceptional work within budget and on time, using my sound work ethic and organizational skills. My passion for creativity, beauty and novelty is evident in my work.

As an artist I have good visual awareness and design skills. I also have knowledge of color theory, textile design, architecture, building and construction, history of design, cameras, lenses and lighting. I work well in a team, and can motivate and inspire an Art Department. I communicate well, and have good presentation skills.
