Jan Morris

J an L Morris was born in St Andrew Jamaica
in 1984. As a child he began creating art, sketching one of his fathers sculptures. Having a father who was an art teacher helped influence him in his early years. In 2000 he moved from Jamaica to the United States. He went on to attend Hunter College in New York, where he studied Media and Studio Art.
After graduating in 2007 he began freelancing on various projects, eventually he began purchasing his own equipment. He went on to produce and direct music videos, short commercials and infomercials. In 2011 he purchased a Canon T3i and began experimenting with Photography.
In addition to Photography Jan enjoys many forms of artistic expression including graphic design & cinematography. Popular culture, technology and the classic artists influence Jan. His work is beginning to get noticed and is featured on some popular art websites including Red Bubble, and Turning Art.
Jan currently works out of Austin Texas.
