Arthur Leitell

Since the summer of 1977, A.J. has dreamed of working in Film in television. The films "Star Wars" and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" changed his outlook on life. After high school, he spent some time at college learning the basics of stage performance and production as well as film. Life took a turn and he ended up spending 12 years in the Military and then his 30's until present as a military contractor, Technical instructor, and Radio Voice Over Artist/Weathercaster. Once he moved into an area where film and television production in was growing in 2010, he became involved in the industry.

So far he has worked as BG/Extra on over 120 different productions, acted in 2 commercials and supported the local film industry events. He has worked hair/makeup as well as sound, lighting and electrical.
In the summer of 2017 he collaborated on a writing team for a film short that was nominated for an award. In the following year he acted in 2 films and was nominated and won for Hair and makeup in one. In 2019 he has worked as BG on Television and Film, acted in 2 films and worked as the sole writer, Asst. Director, production designer, and 3rd AC on a short. He is currently working on a feature length script as well as writing for short film.
