Greetings, Rob Kirby here! After many years as a professional musician, playing guitar and singing; I began taking Voice acting lessons at the beginning of 2011. I had done a bit of freelance VO work over the years but this time I focused on some serious training. After many classes and workshops I was introduced to the Meisner "improv" acting workshops as taught by Pamela Peak in Orange County. Sometimes you hear people say "a light went on"? Well, for me, MANY lights went on! I've always been an entertainer and acting has opened up a whole world of performance that is very challenging and satisfying. So I now balance working my band, Coverlove with VO auditions and am just now finishing up another actor's showcase at the OC Sound Stage. With a new agent and opportunities, I am excited for what's in store! SO why the title of "A Tall Order"? Oh, I just happen to stand 6'8" tall, that's all! ;)

Hey Rob, a few days ago we implemented a new privacy setting to give you the option of accepting private messages only from users within your network. Today, I discovered a bug with the way this option is set for new users. I just wanted to let you know that the bug is now fixed, so all members are now able to receive private messages from any other member (the default setting). If you'd like to receive private messages only from users within your network, you can change this setting here. Also, you can access your privacy settings at any time from the drop-down menu that appears when you hover over your profile photo in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
