I am an actor, documentary filmmaker, writer, producer, and researcher. For the independent film company Miranda Productions, Inc., I wrote and produced four environmental documentaries that have accumulated over eighty major awards and have been broadcast all over the world. Film projects in progress include documentaries on sacred dance, uncontacted peoples in the Amazon, kids and cooking, the Tibetan Book of the Dead, advice to the lovelorn — and a host of other topics.
I’ve been the senior producer of an innovative immersive website on wisdom, and a marketing director of a high-tech company that produces energy-saving devices. I’ve coached, and researched for, authors on topics as diverse as politics and epilepsy. I’m a media consultant for the Amazon Conservation Team. I teach documentary production and filmmaker law for Boulder Digital Arts.
Before moving to Boulder, Colorado in 1994, I acted and directed on stages in New York, Boston, Toronto, and Montreal. I spent a couple of summers working as assistant director to Nikos Psacharapoulos at the acclaimed Williamstown Theatre Festival. Recently I have returned to performing, first in improv with Boulder Playback Theatre and more recently doing character roles for the VIVA theatre company at the Dairy Center for the Arts.
I’m also a founding Director of Golden Sun Foundation for World Culture and served on the Board of the World Council Of Elders.
