Jonathan Peace's Reel

This was my second gig as a screenwriter. Hired by Freezeframe Productions for their Virgin Shorts entry back in 2012, this was my first drama script (although I did put in some Sam Raimi "Evil Dead" stylings with the clock, slamming door etc - which didn't quite make the finished cut). For such a short script - 3 pages - it is still very powerful and Paul did a fantastic job.

Very proud to say this was my first paid gig as a screenwriter. The brief was: "a short scifi with horror elements, that could be a Roland Emmerich style flick." I think I hit it pretty well although I wrote it very tongue-in-cheek with lots of nods to my favourite genre movies. Still was a blast to write, and had a great time with Robert from Vantis Pictures.
