We all do the work, get into "the zone" and want to make your vision stand out and reality. Its not just clothes, lights, or smudge on a face, this is our art we use to make your dream real! I've been a director for a while now, and my shoots (with only one exception over the years and it was my blame as I casted incorrectly - but I learned from the experience) the actors and crew are always joyful and happy. I am always complemented about how much fun they have. The reason is because I am prepared, give them concise directions and always without exception mutual respect is always first and laughter between takes is a given! I am a combo director/good mom. It works! I truly love working with actors. I appreciate how they have to completely give over all of their emotions to work on my projects. I have great respect for that. Good job every body!
