Despite writing their first award-winning script at 16, Caledonia's writing career didn't take off until she was inspired to write a TV series based on their time as a homeless street fighter in Oakland, CA during the Ferguson Riots of 2014. Now that their days of fighting Neo-Nazis and Crips are over, she's embracing life as a disabled, Indigenous writer writing stories with heart and diversity.
Caledonia earned their BS degree in Film Production with a focus in Production Design at The Los Angeles Film School. She has experience as an art director, production designer, prop master, graphic designer, and set decorator. She has worked for years as a ghostwriter and doesn't limit themself to specific genres. If it's a story she wants/has to tell, she tells it. No matter the length or type of literature it is.
