The short film City Road reached the finals of a local competition called Shots In The Dark in 2000 and was shown at the Broadway cinema in my hometown of Nottingham. Most recently I have been reviewing films and producing video content for Squabblebox.co.uk. Recently my short script Seven Hours was reviewed for Shooting The Shorts on simplyscripts.com. http://www.simplyscripts.com/2016/01/12/seven-hours-short-script-review-...
A Lionel Richie reference. Not bad...Well played. Congrats on the Seven Hours script! Wishing you all the best with it!
Thank you, Richard.
My pleasure, John.

Thank you for your time.
Hey, John, thanks for connecting!!
No problem Ross.
My latest review for SquabbleBox.co.uk http://www.squabblebox.co.uk/2015/03/cult-corner-the-beast-within-1982/
Tom Holland himself posted this review on his Facebook page. So cool!
Well it's a great achievement. You should be very proud of yourself.
I really like the loglines to your scripts. There's a couple I'm going to read for sure. Sounds right up my street.

Expand commentI always like to give credit where credit is due. I think it's important for screenwriters to support each other. I've posted my scripts on other sites but had no luck so hopefully that will change here on Stage 32. At the moment I'm trying to network with as many other filmmakers like me as possible. The scripts I have posted are available for option as I don't have the finances at the moment to make them myself and I would really like to see them get made by other filmmakers. I'm working on a couple of feature scripts at the moment that I hope to get completed this year. One of which is a script I would like to make my feature film directing debut.
John thank you. I wish you well with your endeavors. I'm in the same boat as you... just networking and writing. When Im done with Down Load of the Dead I will let you know. Stay in touch.
Will do.
Even though I love the horror genre and writing horrific stories, I'm interested in tackling as many different genres as I can. I don't ever want to be labelled as a one trick pony. I'm a fan of all genres and are influenced by the films I grew up watching, especially those that were produced in the 80s.

Hello, John!
Hi, John! With your experience as short films producer, I believe it's high time you went into full-length feature! You will find it more exciting - and who knows - more financially rewarding!
Thanks for the warm welcome. I've been wanting to break into features for a long time but have had many personal set backs. I've got a couple of feature length scripts I've been working on for a while...

Shorts are great experience and good for developing your craft so I wanna keep cutting my teeth on them.
A young, female hitchhiker accepts a ride from a religious man, but soon comes to regret her decision.
hey John, I love the logline, but when i started reading the script, I gave up 'cause something's wrong with the font you used, it's very difficult to read
It's a normal courier font. Why was it difficult to read?
I've uploaded a better version so hopefully you will be able to read it.
