Enjoyed your blog on "8 Film Festival Do's and Don'ts." I particularly loved your comment about not being discouraged when only 5 people are in the audience at your festival screening. I had that experience at a screening of my very first film at the very first film festival I attended, except there were eight people in the audience: me, my wife, my three kids, another filmmaker and two people who sat way in the back and never said a word. I was mortified and my kids felt bad for me. Fortunately, I took them to one other festival with me not too long afterward and was redeemed by having a decent crowd and a solid Q&A session. Thanks for your blog!
