About Pamela

Pamela holds a B.A. in Film/T.V. Production from USC and helms her indie production company, Brass Ring Enterprises. In 2022, the screenplay version of “TAL JONES: A Black Oil Legacy” won Best Screenplay in the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards. In 2021, it won Best Adapted Screenplay in the Las Vegas Black Film Festival and placed in several other screenwriting competitions. Pamela has worked on various film and TV productions, music videos, sizzle reels, promotional videos, commercials and PSAs.

Some of Pamela’s credits include in 2022 and 2021 directing the promotional video for the sci-fi screenplay “New Found World”, written by Al Franklin, Pamela and Jessica Vitale. She was a creative consultant and shot BTS (Behind the Scenes) for the feature film “Trenchez”, directed by Dennis Conrad. In 2020 she directed, wrote and produced two music videos for music artist Chef Sean: “Feelings” and “No Name” (featuring Jeremih). Through Brass Ring in 2018, she directed, produced and co-wrote the TV pilot “BFA New Orleans” (2019), featuring Steven Williams (“The Chi”) and Lance E. Nichols (“Queen of the South”). She was a Producer on “Harland Williams Presents Caramel Corn the Pug”, the comedy routine featuring Harland Williams (“Sausage Party”, 2016). She directed and produced reality show sizzle reels for “Celebrity Fit and Fabulous”, featuring Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson and NFL Network anchor Erin Coscarelli, and “Nature’s Best”, both hosted by “Dr. Dave” Pryor, former Medical Director at NBC/Universal, and co-directed, produced and co-wrote the vampire film “Teeth and Blood” (2015), starring Glenn Plummer and Michelle Vanderwater. She also produced and directed “Breast Health Awareness: We Can’t Afford to Wait” videos for Anthem Blue Cross in October 2012.

Pamela has produced, written and directed two noteworthy documentary films: “GOLD DIGGIN’: For Love of Money”, was screened at Cannes 2008 and re-released on TUBI-TV in May 2022; and “The Wonder Kids” documentary film features Dick Van Dyke, Savion Glover and Debbie Allen (Directed, produced and written by Pamela and Jim Petersen). It won Best Documentary in the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in 2008. Other talent Pamela has worked with include Mykelti Williamson, John Stamos, Jack Klugman and Bruce Davison. Music video artists include Montel Jordan, Dr. Dre (featuring Eminem), Freddie Jackson and Redman.
