About Randy

The Grand Rapids Press was right about Randy Bassin, President and Founder of Global Force Productions. After most of his career was spent in the tech sector, Mr. Bassin found himself pursuing the use of technology to express the profound artistic talents of his creative services team. Randy said, “I have felt for years that technology has been under-serving its audiences in quite mundane ways. Finally, we have begun using talent and technology to tell stories in new ways!”

  • The Ironical Chronicles

    The Ironical Chronicles (2011)
TV Movie by Global Force Productions (Animation) Executive Producer This is a story of two unlikely opponents locked in a hilarious conflict that is a struggle of good versus evil. Frances, our heroine, is an outgoing, imaginative, overly enthusiastic, polite, Midwestern 9-year-old girl with a strong sense of justice, whose enthusiasm causes her to leap before she looks. Thaddeus Busby, the villain, is always trying to maintain an air of dignity while fighting his true nature that wants to scream and rage against the machine. Through the back door of his evil lair, Thaddeus travels into history to mix up an historical event and make a name for himself. In Frances barn sits a dusty old, broken down, mysterious, grandfather clock that chimes to alert Frances that history has gone wrong. Through its small door, Frances steps into the place and time that needs her help. While Thaddeus is obsessed with literally rewriting history to make his mark, (and to please his wife, Lucretia), Frances always seems to be right on his heels, and in the end, straighten things out again. Kids everywhere will certainly know straightened out history at the end of every episode.
