About Angelo

I am an independent filmmaker living in London and I have a true passion for comedy entertainment, from Films to Web and TV.

I began my career as a writer and performer of live comedy shows, stand-up, theatre, national broadcast TV and live improv from 2005 to 2010. I won my first comedy award in 2004, and in 2006 was part of the cast of the TV show "Saturday Night Live from Milano", the Italian localisation of the most popular comedy show in the US. I graduated in 2008 with an MSc in Architectural Engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin and started my film career in 2009 as the scriptwriter, co-producer and co-director of the short film L'Ultima Opera. I now produce and direct my own content under the name of Beware of the Dog Films. My latest short film Cupids won the Best European Film award at the Assurdo Film Festival 2018 in Milan.

I have also run successful crowdfunding campaigns and helped other filmmakers achieve their crowdfunding goals. I believe in the power of collaboration and enjoy working on engaging digital strategies for Short Films and online Entertainment, with a special attention for comedy projects.
