Rachel Meyers

I am a single parent and live in the middle of the desert in Arizona which has given me many ideas for films. I have always loved movies and wanted to be a part of their workings but it wasn't until recently I found where my heart wanted to be. I have always been a writer but found that I work more along the lines of a screenwriter than a novelist. All of my inspiration for films come from my weird and crazy dreams and since I always dream I am always full of ideas. My favorite genres are horror and sci-fi. My hopes, like everyone else, are to be able to sell something and make a living helping movies be made. I also hope that one day I will be able to take my daughter on-set so she can see how it all happens especially creature effects. Like all parents I want to make life the best I can for my little girl and I hope that I will be able to do this through writing. I look forward to meeting and potentially working with new people and learning as much as I can.
