About Kat

Kathleen McAuley has enjoyed a career as a Post professional for over a decade. Her career has spanned reality, marketing, and scripted television and film. She currently completed her second season of All American Homecoming, and a feature film, All Hail Anastasia. Kathleen is a Bowdoin College Graduate, and initially explored careers in law and finance, before choosing her passion for film. Her background gives her a unique perspective on work environments outside of the entertainment industry. Kathleen has a long commitment to civil rights, starting from her days at Bowdoin, to her activism in MPEG’s Diversity Committee, and ACE’s Mentorship program. She credits her most significant activism as “just being the person to speak up in the room. From Claudette Colvin to Greta Thunberg, one person can bring about a mountain of change. If they can face such huge challenges, we have no more excuses. We should all strive to be that one person.”
