About Cort

CORT JOHNS founded Eden Road Pictures with Luke Jaden and Phil Wurtzel with a focus on taking risks developing honest and innovative content. They have currently been developing creative projects in-house. Most recently, they have been tapped to write and direct the adaptation for NYT Bestseller Ted Dekker's novel, Hacker. Johns recently produced, co-wrote and co-directed Wolf Who Cried Boy with Jaden starring the Oscar®-nominated Captain Phillips star Barkhad Abdi and Beasts of The Southern Wild’s Dwight Henry. Johns has also produced King Ripple starring Keith Stanfield (Snowden, Straight Outta Compton, Selma, Short Term 12, Dope) and The Listing starring Erin Cummings (ABC’s The Astronaut Wives Club) and Rob Zabrecky (Lost River). He recently wrapped production on a psychological thrilled calledAnagram he produced, which is due for release this Fall. He was also a producer on Jaden's first narrative The Neverlands starring Langston Fishburne (Have a Little Faith). Johns accomplished his J.D. at University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2011 as well as a B.A. in Anthropology from Western Michigan University in 2001.
