About Harley

Native Oregonian, screenwriter, novelist, poet, musician, painter. I camp, cross train, enjoy good food, good movies and good books. I studied business at Portland State University, did general studies at Chemekata CC, earned an ASS in electrical engineering from Bates and Graduated from NADA/ATD in D.C. Economics are closely tied to what and how I write my screen and teleplays . My interests include everything. A student of science and philosophy, deep conversations and ideas are exciting; I like to write stories that involve introspection and evocative ideas. I write fast and work well under pressure; I can write on just about any topic, I am a quick study and a good listener.

My first novel 'Ikaros' came out, 4 July 2018 and I have multiple screenplays adapted to it. My second book, which is the first in a series is under my third edit and will be ready to come to market in 2019; I have a pilot and two one hour episodes written following that story, 'Berry's Method.' The books have a life of their own and may go on indefinitely. I have the first season plotted and there will be between 8 and 12 episodes by the end of 2019 (unless someone buys it and has me on it full time). 'Berry's Method is a story about a world of characters so a logline that begins with "A guy finds a girl in a dumpster" type of thing won't suffice. I have a series logline and individual lines for each episode. There is a story bible and another for season two and I'll be starting book two soon which will provide a furtherance of outline for future seasons. 'Berry's Method' will be a big show one of these days. The producer who finds it will thank me for being so confident in my work and this story.

I am available on short notice and can work all hours, all conditions, if the project is run professionally.

Unique traits: I would have to list my unique traits as a life full of crazy experiences. With my friends, I have jumped off, out of, rode, ridden, climbed, fell off of, been in, under and just about anything else there is to do that should have killed me. I even drowned once, no light at the end of that tunnel. I can act, I have tattoos on my arms, no swastikas, swear words, or sex type stuff. I look like the heavy in a biker gang. I ride motorcycles, work weapons well, know how top drive 18 wheelers, four wheel drives and boats. I know Oregon and Washington trails and mountain locations. I am well read and can write on demand.
