In 1969 I was born in Detroit and lived there, and in its northern suburbs until relocating to Los Angeles in 2005.

I graduated from CCS/College for Creative Studies in 1997, Magna Cum Laude, with a BFA in Illustration and a minor in Fine Art.

From a very early age I had aspirations of moving west and becoming an illustrator or creative director for the likes of Pixar Animation Studio or Industrial Light & Magic. In 1995 I was accepted by ILM for their internship program which, to much heartbreak, I had to graciously turn down. I instead took a position as a Jr Art Director at Campbell Ewald.

Upon my arrival to Los Angeles in August of 2005 I somehow ended up working by day as a designer for many ‘high profile’ clients and my nights were spent, collaborating, notating ideas, researching and honing my writing skills. During this time I finished a novel, several short stories and my first solo script.

In 2009 I was given the opportunity to be part of a small team exclusively selected to create a High-end jewelry brand and bring it public. In 2011 the brand and website for Jean Dousset Diamonds (the great-grandson of Louis Cartier) was launched and in February of 2012 JDD opened their flagship showroom on Melrose Avenue.

Through all of this and over the last 10 years I have completed: a novel, several film scripts, developed three Television shows (including scripts), a 30 Rock spec script and two Reality show treatments.

Currently I have three additional scripts in various stages of development and continue to create whenever the mood strikes.
