Thanks so much for your invite. I enjoyed reading your bio - and wish you every success in creating and launching that project that will turn our industry’s spotlight on your many talents.

My name is Aaron Cassara (independent director/producer), and I'm looking to hire a production designer for a no-budget short film slated to be produced this summer. We already have a cinematographer attached to the project, but before we begin moving forward with our location, we want to find a production designer who is excited about the script.

The project is a horror film posing as a relationship drama. We're happy to share the script with anyone who’s interested.

This is a self-funded project, and no-budget doesn’t mean no-money. We realize that there are things that you can’t avoid paying for, and we want to negotiate something that’s fair for everyone involved. We have an excellent locations company in Chicago helping us source the perfect setting for our film, and we’re planning to shoot with either an ARRI Alexa Mini or a Mini LF.
