About Matthew

Editing has been my joy since I began filming shorts with a DV camera back in high school.
My skills increased in college, earning a degree in film at the State University of Oswego. Since then, I have edited hundreds of short projects be they highlights of weddings, Kickstarter videos, or personal vlogs of my own camping trips into the wilderness . There is something innately exciting about the way a single edit can powerfully change the course of a story, and I have a ball blending the cuts into a unified whole.

I am currently a Dailies Editor for Digital Film Tree and have worked on TV shows like Dave and Ted Lasso.

I also run a YouTube channel that combines footage I get on nature trails with the art of poetry. You can check it out below, along with my personal YouTube channel that features vlogs of some of my camping trips.
