About Rich

Hi there,

Since you're curious enough to have landed on my page, here's a little about me: I work side-by-side with filmmakers, using sound design to bring their cinematic visions to life. It’s a passion I’ve fostered for decades. In 1985, my wife and I packed our bags and moved out of Florida to New York in pursuit of our dreams. I've made my debut by mastering the sound for Stephen King's "Maximum Overdrive" with the nutty idea of incorporating a Synclavier.

Several feature films, location moves, and 52 episodes of Pokemon later, here I am in my cozy Midtown studio at ButtonsNY, mastering sound and picture for films of all forms. And if you're a filmmaker, chances are you have something going on I'd love to hear about. So give me a holler; I'd love to hear what you have on your plate and see if I can help.

Kind Regards,

Rich Macar
