My name is Jen Mitchell. I am an Emmy-nominated, May 2011 graduate from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Communication. I feel that this academic preparation together with the invaluable experience I have collected in print journalism, broadcast journalism, corporate video production, music video production, television, film, and radio these last eight years that I am ready to take the step towards becoming a writer and producer.

Hello I am looking for a producer to help find funding for a script I have written or even to sell to be made. It is a story I am very passionate about and something many many people would love to see on screen.

I am looking for an experienced screenwriter to work on a project that has gotten great coverage, but which has gotten poor reviews for the dialogue. I'm a novelist, so the transition from novel to script is one that takes some time and the services that have reviewed the concept seem to think it could be sold during pilot season, whenever that is, if the script can be fixed. I need a partner that will work with me on this. It would not be free, they would be compensated for their time.
