After composing the music for Cause Unknown Season 2 I thought it would be interesting to share a little of my approach to composing a cue for one of the scenes. I thought it might be interesting to those looking to pursue film composing as well as a way of possibly getting some feedback from other more established composers as to things I can do to improve.

Hi, I'm Maliek. I'm an "aspiring" screenwriter & actor. I have no experience what so ever, I've barely finished anything, mainly because I'm SO hard on myself. I've been writing as a hobby since freshman year of high school, & last year I decided to make it my potential career. I'm not very up there when it comes to funds, so I'm still relatively new, and my stuff is still amateur. I planned on going to school for film and production next year & see where it goes. I kind of made this to meet people, & make connections! I have a "co-writer" who I collab with on every single one of OUR projects. She's not on here... yet. But, we share the same vision & dream. She operates out of Canada, we make it work. I don't have any doubts that if I managed to make one of my ideas come to life that it would be amazing, given me & my partners care & craft. It's just about getting there, & improving my skill set. :)

Hello everyone, I'm Yon. I've listen to some of the other musicians and composers on here and the high level of talent can be intimidating. I'm humbled to be in such a group where I can watch, listen and learn.

I have the opportunity to compose music for my first film. It is a short film that the filmmaker will be submitting to festivals. I've composed music for a lot of movie clips through school and on my own time but this will be my first full film. So, would any of you experienced composers have any words of advice for me?
