About Kathleen

Kathleen Puls Andrade is a professional actor, improviser, voiceover, and writer and has been a member of SAG-AFTRA for almost two decades, with numerous voiceover and on camera credits to her name. She and her writing partner, Andy Eninger, have been named semi-finalists for the Page International Screenwriting Awards and are in the Top 100 of Emerging Screenwriters for their original sitcom pilot, Fertile Ground and have recently signed a Shopping Agreement with Momentum TV, Los Angeles. Her original solo comedy Journey to the Center of the Uterus™: Adventures Infertility!, a poignant comedy based on her own roller coaster experiences with infertility, premiered in Chicago and was featured on the PBS special Health Secrets: What Every Woman Should Know hosted by Paula Zahn. Kathleen also created an original audio blog, Journey to the Center of the Uterus™, especially for . Currently, Kathleen can be seen in Put the Nuns in Charge!, the hilarious sequel to Late Nite Catechism at the Royal George Theatre in Chicago and around the U.S. and Canada, and Bible Bingo, a hilariously scripted/improvised Bingo Game. For over a decade, Kathleen worked with the Chicago Comedy Company, writing and performing original sketch and improv for corporations and colleges around the country. In addition to having a “Masters” in comedy from Second City, The Annoyance and IO, she has also taught improvisation at The Second City, along with improv and voiceover workshops at Baylor University, U of I, In Forte (among others) and has taught voiceover at Bosco Productions in Chicago where she used improvisation as a tool to help with the creative process. Kathleen is also the creator and producer of the Funny Women Fest, which showcased the talents of women as educators, performers, writers and producers of comedy and improvisation, and the festival attracted women from all over the world. She also serves on the advisory board of the Chicago Comedy Film Festival, which runs in Chicago every Fall. Kathleen is represented exclusively by Big Mouth Talent, (Chicago) for On Camera, Naked Voices (Chicago) for Voiceover, and William Morris Endeavor (Los Angeles) for Voiceover.
