About Tara

Trained in the Stella Adler/Stanislavski method Tara has played roles from Shakespeare to Arthur Williams in reputable theatre companies around Sydney as well as numerous roles in independent feature and short films.

Tara trained with New York/Sydney based teacher Lynette Sheldon and received private coaching in acting, voice and American dialect with Annie Swan, Jennifer West and Professor John Higgins along with several years of vocal training.

Earlier in her career, Tara was a professional Contemporary and Ballet dancer and danced for a number of years throughout Germany. Over a 17 years period, Tara has gained considerable skill as a dancer in Contemporary and Ballet styles as well as Jazz, Funk, Latin, Ballroom, and Spanish.

Tara is, stage combat trained; an efficient Archer with her own Compound Bow shooting in the Bare Bow technique; has a thorough knowledge of the German language; a skilled ballet teacher and a Burlesque performer.

Tara is a dedicated performer and always on the look out for new creative projects with professional creative teams.
