Michael Stepowany

Aside from writing, Michael creates oil, acrylic, and water color paintings.
As a playwright, he has had two full length plays produced: The Honey Trap and Tread. He has had two Musicals for Children Audiences produced: Superstar and Power Ants & Hoppers.
His latest post is the Screenplay: Uptown Girl - A Billy Joel Musical. Adapted from his play of the same title.

He has outlined books for two musicals. Both are in need of a composer(s). One is "Hallelujah Blues" a Blues/ Gospel Musical about the rise of the first black radio station in the South, WDIA in Memphis. The second outline in search of music is "Boondoggle" A story centered around the slavish Turpentine Camps of Florida. Feel free to contact Michael if interested.

Michael is also putting the finishing touches on his Memoir: The Thieves of North Harewood road. It focuses on his four years backstage at an all-boys high school in Washington D.C. during the turbulent '60's.
He is also rapidly finishing his first novel, a Sci-Fi mystery: Stratosphere
