Allie Jessing

Hi! I'm Allie. I'm a classically trained singer, actress, writer, and producer. I'm currently writing and starring in an epic historical fantasy action musical series, Hetaira, about Aspasia, an immortal Ancient Greek courtesan who falls in love with a Viking shieldmaiden. When Loki imprisons her lover, Aspasia must go on a thousand year quest to free her, using her magical voice at critical moments in history.

I'm currently producing Hetaira as a one-woman musical that will preview in NYC in July and debut at Edinburgh Fringe in August 2019. Hetaira is also in production as a serial podcast, for which there is already a preview episode:



Hetaira will continue as a series of live performances paired with an ongoing serial podcast so that fans can follow the series via the podcast and also have the opportunity to see the live shows. This provides me with the opportunity to build my fanbase and maintain creative control of the project while I fundraise to film a pilot.

My ultimate goal for this work is to get it produced as a network series.
