I'm also currently in the midst of writing my first feature length film called The Monster Next Door, which tells the story of the life and tragic death of my friend Sellis Gonzales, who was brutally murdered by her ex-boyfriend last fall in Brooklyn, New York. Domestic Violence takes the lives of 3 women every day in the US, and this is in a region where Domestic Violence death rates are amongst the lowest in the world.
