Yes, Rain Story is a real name belonging to a very real woman. She is a screenwriter, script consultant, actress, and film producer in-training in the city of Los Angeles. Rain is originally from Arkansas but has lived in many locations over the years including Denver, Chicago, and Spain. She is multi-lingual, has two bachelor degrees, and was nearing completion of a MA/PhD when personal tragedy struck and shifted her pathway from literature, narrative study, screenwriting, and languages to a future of making films in Hollywood.
Rain has several scripts under her belt from past years but is most enamored with a very intense historical narrative screenplay that she created with her writing partner and acting coach. She also performs script consulting work for screenwriters and producers in Hollywood, checking the narratives for structure, comprehension, flow, and character development.
Having grown up working around and acting in stage plays around Arkansas, Rain is not alien to the concept of what it takes to give a great performance. Therefore, it is not surprising that when her new boyfriend in L.A. took a 3-week-long trip in the summer of 2011 without her, Rain kept herself busy with auditions and staying in front of the cameras. Since then, she has been in several films and an infomercial or two.
Her upbeat, positive, and charming personality, bright smile, sky-blue eyes, and laughter are virtues that draw directors and producers to remember her name and her natural acting talent. For instance, Rain's ability to transform into a deep, serious, and even dark role (drawn from her own deep personal experiences) prove that she is, without a doubt, a presence on film to be reckoned with.
